What our patients & colleagues say about us

Just a little note to say a huge thank you for all of your help and support during Mum’s hip operative and referral. You have been most patient with all of our questions and have always been on hand for advice when we have needed it – Thank you !
Jeh is an exceptional Consultant - he has the rare mix of kindness, empathy, training and surgical skill without arrogance.
Very grateful to you and your team for all you did for me during my hip operation in 2014. My legs are now equal, my ceramic hip working well and my recovery amazing. Better than I could ever have hoped for. Best wishes to you for the future.
Best knee surgeon I have come across. Very good teacher. A lovely surgeon to work with.
I came into hospital for a full knee replacement in 2017. I am writing to you to say that from the moment I entered the ward to the time I was discharge, I could not fault any part of my treatment. On arrival the ward staff were so friendly and accommodating, which put me at ease straight away. As for yourself and your colleague, you explained the pros and cons of the operation which was very reassuring. As for the anaesthetist, well what can I say, Fantastic! Nursing staff after the operation, always there, cups of tea at 4am in the morning, what more can I say. Then we have the dreaded physio’s again Fantastic! Can’t wait for gym classes. Many thanks to you and all the team.
Excellent and supportive consultant in theatres, clinics and whilst on call. Great communication with patients, they are always happy and satisfied. Amazing trainer. Pleasure to have worked with him.
As always a pleasure to visit this department after full knee procedure. All of your staff and surgeons under Mr Mahaluxmivala and nurses couldn’t be better.
Fantastic colleague, pleasure to work with. Very reliable and supportive. Very well-liked by colleagues and staff alike. Has a very patient focused practice. Keen trainer, makes every effort to teach. Excellent Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon.
With many thanks for all your caring during my two recent hip operations – I couldn’t have had a better hospital experience so thank you to you and everyone who cared for me.
He is very compassionate - always has the patients best interests at the heart of his care delivery. He works well within the theatre team, communicates effectively and respects all staff.
I am sending you a very big ‘thank you’ for arranging for me to have my second hip replacement in 2018. It is nice to be able to now walk without lots of pain. I am looking forward, once healed, to doing some of the things I haven’t been able to do for some time. Its givens me a new lease of life, Thank you. I would also like to thank all the staff at Rivers hospital too for being kind and understanding during both operations. Everyone from reception, pre admission orchard ward, physio and after care greeted me with a pleasant smile and couldn’t be more helpful.
I write to thank you so very much for treating me recently for the worrying symptoms in my right knee. Mr Mahaluxmivala, you have been so kind and gracious to me and I have felt so safe and confident under your expert care. I am back at work, dancing, being careful as you said and receiving physio. I’m so thankful for all the care I have received and am receiving and again Mr Mahaluxmivala so thankful to you.
Thank you for giving me my life back which has enabled me to participant in a sport I love. Since having my knee replacement I have won 2 finals, this was a massive achievement as I have competed in agility for 10 years. I cannot thank you enough.
Thank you for my new knee. You’ve made this easier for me. (well after the first few weeks). From my family too as they know how much this means. And to your team, who did what they did and kept me safe.
