Every effort will be made to give you a mutually convenient appointment time straight away on your first call. However the clinic will be happy to entertain your preferred time and hence may call you back to secure that.

Generally a new consultation visit is around 30 minutes. However, no patient is ever rushed during the consultation.

The patient will be seen in a spacious and corona safe environment. A complete history of the complaint will be taken and a thorough examination will be performed.

If needed, x-rays will be requested which will be done at the same visit.

Further discussions will occur with the patient and the diagnosis explained in an easy and understandable manner. The treatment options will be offered and no patient will ever be forced or rushed into any surgical intervention.

No patient will be made to terminate the consultation unless there is mutual assurance that all aspects of the case and all worries of the patient have been addressed.

During the corona pandemic anything to keep footfall low in hospitals is encouraged and hence if the patient prefers then of course a telephone conference call is possible.

Yes we do. We deal with many insurance companies in the UK.

Many patients do want to see a specialist privately but do not have private insurance.

In these cases it is very streamlined and easy, as you can still make the appointment through the channels explained above and be seen as what is called a “self-pay patient”.

Keep in mind that in these cases so as to keep the cost down, any previous x-rays or scans done will be needed during the consultation to give a specialist opinion.

Please visit our Fees page for more details.

The clinic does not need a GP letter but some insurance companies might need a GP referral letter in order to validate the claim.

Every patient will be copied into the letter which is written to the GP.

(This helps with subsequent phone call dealings with the insurance companies)
